What are “Secret Moods”?
Secret moods are hidden from your partner until they set a matching mood. It’s a fun way to see if you’re both feeling the same way—when your secret moods match, you’ll both be notified! Great for intimate moments when you don’t want to initiate but want to know if the feeling is mutual.
How does mood matching work?
When you and your partner both have the same mood active (like “Need Affection” or “Feeling Romantic”), the app highlights this match on your dashboard. You’ll see a celebration badge and can track your matching streaks over time in the Insights tab.

Data Collection
Intimate Connection does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. The application operates entirely on your local WiFi network. There are no accounts, no cloud storage, and no telemetry of any kind.
Local Communication
All communication between paired devices occurs exclusively over your local WiFi network using direct peer-to-peer TCP connections. This includes mood sharing, text and voice messages, read receipts, presence status, and profile updates. No data is ever sent to the internet.
Encryption
All communication is encrypted end-to-end using ECDH key exchange (P-256 curve) and AES-256-GCM for all messages, moods, and voice recordings. Encryption keys are stored in platform secure storage (iOS Keychain, Android Keystore, Windows Credential Manager). The local database is encrypted.
Local Data Storage
Your nickname, mood history, chat messages, voice recordings, questionnaire responses, and app preferences are stored locally on your device and never transmitted to external servers. You can delete all local data at any time from Settings.
Microphone Access
Microphone access is used solely for recording voice messages. Audio is recorded locally, encrypted, and sent directly to the paired recipient over your local network.
Third-Party Services
This application does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data is shared with any third party. When you download from an app store, the platform provider may collect data as described in their respective privacy policies.
Children’s Privacy
This application is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not collect any data.
